The Spare Tire License Plate Bracket is designed to work specifically with the Rigid Industries CHASE light, and similar Amazon import versions of the same light. It is designed to fit tire carriers that use a wheel stud type of mounting. The telescoping mount adjusts to your wheel and tire width. The bracket is powder coated satin black.
Purchase the Rigid Chase light and mount from us and we'll splice the Deutsch connectors into the light wiring for you!
INCLUDES:
Base plate for behind spare tire
Mounting bracket for license plate and Rigid Chase
5/16 Grade 8 bolt to secure mounting bracket into base plate
(4) 1/4" stainless button head bolts for license plate mounting
6 Pin Deutsch connectors (male female plugs, terminals) and heat shrink
Base plate fits tire carriers with the following bolt patterns:
5 on 4.5"
5 on 5"
5 on 5.5"
8 on 6.5"
6 on 5.5"
Light sold separately. Choose from dropdown menu to include light.

The Rigid CHASE light mount is awesome!
The KD Fabworks spare tire carrier license plate mount for the Rigid CHASE light is straight up awesome. It allows you to mount the light in the best spot on a JKU in order to take advantage of all of the lights capabilities. The powder coating is top notch and it comes with connections that allow you to disconnect the light if you need to use the spare tire. The only thing better than the mount is KD Fabworks customer service. I placed my order while they were in Moab and they had someone in the shop early to get my order shipped. This allowed me to get it installed before Jeep Beach, which saved my butt as my JKU was displayed in the Rigid Industries booth!

This RIGID Chase light setup is AWESOME!
This is the second one of these assemblies that I have bought. They are a quality product and rock solid. I have my RIGID chase light and backup camera mounted on mine. The reason I have two is because I love being able to have my rig setup in different 'modes'. I have one that I use when I'm carrying my 38" spare tire and another when I'm not carrying the spare. I love this setup and I've modded mine for my particular needs.

Would this fit on my 2012 rav4 spare tire?

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it will. From photos, it looks like the Rav4 has a part of the tire carrier that protrudes through the wheel center. This would interfere with our mounting plate.

Unfortunately it will not work the JL and the center mounted camera. We will be having a mounting option for that down the road.

Q:
Does this come with wire disconnects if ordered with rigid Chase light? To allow removal of spare tire. Also can that Chase light be wired to allow the white light to be used as a work light when parked? With a switch. Thanks

A:
They come with the plugs even if you order it separate from a Chase light, you would just have to do the plug install yourself. However, if you order the BRK-1015 bracket and Chase light together, we will install the plug inline on the Chase light wiring. You can wire the white light to anything you would like; reverse lights, switch....you will just have to run more wire to the switch for that, but yes, you can wire it that way.
